sunshine + sweat - mondays at 8am

Sunshine + Sweat is a yoga class that takes a mind-over-matter approach as we energize the body with a dynamic Vinyasa Flow and lots of play.

Your instructor, Markie Roberts, incorporates an array of sun salutations, strength building creative sequences, and fun exploratory poses that will push the boundaries of what we think we can do. We will focus on a specific peak asana each week, capturing the mental and physical vitality that shines from working towards it. This is a more challenging class. It is recommended for yogis that like to push the boundaries of their bodies.

No registration required. Bring your yoga mat if you have one. We'll provide the rest. $12 via Cash or VenMo directly to your instructor.

sunset surrender - tuesdays at 7pm

This class is taught at a very slow pace with a meditative approach to help participants restore their body and develop the skills to calm their minds. Instructor, Sandy Houseman, creates a safe and inclusive space for students to let the tension melt away. 

Sunset Surrender features a slow-paced, mindful style of yoga. It includes postures that are held for long periods, supported by various props- bolsters, blankets, straps, etc. The slower nature of this class allows us to fully relax our muscles and focus on our breath. Experience a sense of grounding and centeredness as this class is taught close to our mat with little to no standing postures. 

This hour long class is suitable for all ages. all bodies and all levels of experience. Beginners welcome. No registration required. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. The rest will be provided. $12 via Cash or Venmo.

THE FINAL BALANCE + BLISS CLASS WILL BE OCTOBER 4

balance + bliss - wednesdays at 9am

Your mind and body will thank you after this yoga class with Nora. This practice will gently wake the body and senses through slow, fluid, intentional movements, leaving each student feeling rejuvenated yet calm and balanced. Flowing slowly and engaging in static poses that soften the connective tissues creates mobility and flexibility. We will close with meditative relaxation (savasana).

This class is suitable for all bodies and level of experience. Beginners welcome. No registration required. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. The rest will be provided. $12 via Cash or Venmo

THE FIRST SLOW FLOW CLASS WILL BE OCTOBER 11

Slow Flow - wednesdays at 9am

Slow Flow is curated to provide you with a serene, rejuvenating experience. ​In class, with Miranda, we focus on deliberate, fluid movements that allow us to deeply connect to our breath, while strengthening the body. This is a slower paced class that encourages us to embrace mindfulness and find harmony as we move through each pose and posture. Leave feeling centered, and at ease in this mid week reset of mindfully moving our bodies.

This class is suitable for all bodies and level of experience. Beginners welcome. No registration required. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. The rest will be provided. $12 via Cash or Venmo

rise yoga - thursdays at 9am

Release tension. Build strength, flexibility, balance and connection with ourselves. Rise to your own needs.

Share where your aches are being held and allow the methodical “move-meant” of our yoga practice to strengthen and alleviate these areas. This class, with Markie is most commonly a vinyasa flow with an intentional, reflective savasana (the final pose of the class). Enjoy a unique experience each week, that is fully based on the group's needs.

This class is suitable for all bodies and levels of experience. No registration required. Bring a yoga mat, if you have one, we'll provide the rest. $12 via Cash or VenMo.

candlelight yin - thursdays at 7pm

Allow yourself to relax from the stresses of the week by showing our bodies some love. Candlelight Yin is a yoga class that eases tense muscles and guides the mind into a zen state. Our instructor, Alicia, leads us through breathwork, gentle yoga postures held with patience and extended relaxation (savasana). 

This class is suitable for all bodies and levels of experience. Beginners welcome. No registration required. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. The rest will be provided. $12 via Cash or Venmo.

yoga foundations - fridays at 8am

Yoga Foundations is a gentle, slow flow class. It's a perfect place to begin or strengthen your yoga practice. 

Your instructor, Alicia Richardson, incorporates basic foundational poses; focusing on proper alignment, building strength, balance, and flexibility. We end class with an extended moment of meditative stillness with lots of nourishing hands on adjustments.

This class is suitable for all bodies and all levels of experience. Beginners welcome. No registration required. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. The rest will be provided. $12 via Cash or Venmo.

morning movement - saturdays at 8am

Morning Movement is an upbeat, vinyasa flow class. Your instructor, Alicia Richardson, incorporates energizing flowing sequences to warm up the body, focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. We wind down with slower paced postures to promote overall calm and relaxation.

This is a more challenging class. It is recommended for yogis that like to push the boundaries of their bodies.

restore - saturdays at 9:30am

This slow, meditative paced yoga class will leave you feeling refreshed and restored as Alicia, leads us through gentle, yet deep yoga poses supported by props (blocks, bolsters, straps, etc.).

When we slowly mobilize and move through these deep stretches, we discover calm, alignment, and homeostasis within ourselves.

This class is suitable for all bodies and all levels of experience. Beginners welcome. No registration required. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. The rest will be provided. $12 via Cash or Venmo.

NO CLASS ON OCTOBER 4TH

kind movement - wednesdays at 4:30pm

Kind Movement is your weekly opportunity to get away from the chatter of the day/week and allow the mind to come to a place of stillness. In Kind Movement we come into gentle, restorative, intentional yoga postures, and hold these poses for extended periods of time. Finding stillness in each pose gives our bodies and minds the time we are so deeply yearning for, to go inward. While in these poses, we focus on the breath, chakra focused affirmations, and creating space for healing and release. During class, we will be supported in many ways. Physically (by yoga props- blocks, bolsters, blankets, etc.) Energetically (via Reiki by Monique) and mentally (through the soothing sounds of crystal sound bowls during savasana, played by Jason).

Time is a luxury often not afforded to us in abundance with the busy schedules we all lead, and this is just the break you might be looking for. Come join Jason and Monique of Kind People Wellness as they take you on an escape through Restorative Yoga, Reiki and Sound.

This class is suitable for all bodies and levels of experience.

Beyond Survival - Self Defense - Sept 30 at noon

Beyond Survival - Self Defense is designed to empower and prepare you both mentally and physically for any potentially dangerous situation you may find yourself in. It features a harmonious blend of yoga and pilates exercises for strengthening our bodies, in addition to the self defense move of the day where we will explore different martial arts movements and learn vital self defense techniques in a safe environment with low impact on the body.

As a survivor herself coach Ashley invites other survivors of abuse/trauma to take back their power and build back their confidence in this unique class. Coach Ashley is a geriatric fitness specialist certified through NASM, and she is trauma informed. She does a great deal of research to ensure that we will be learning self defense tactics that actually work, as well as ensuring her students are up to date with the current threats in their community.

This class is open to ALL genders, ALL fitness levels and ALL ages.

belly dancing for everyone - October 1 AT 6pm

Come shimmy and shake with us at Sage Sanctuary for a belly dancing workshop led by Parva Tara, birth worker, mother, belly dancer.

Belly Dancing is one of the oldest forms of expressive dance. It's benefits include-
improved balance, strength, digestion, coordination and confidence as well as being a fun and highly expressive. It allows us to connect back to our bodies, womb space, and tone our pelvic floors.

On this night, arrive dressed in clothing and accessories that make you feel like the goddess you are. Together, we connect with other women as we tune into the rhythms and cycles of our wombs through dance. Embrace every curve and awaken the divine feminine within you through sensual movement. This workshop is for beginners, and will cover the core basics to guide you through your belly dancing journey.

*Belly Dancing accessories will be available for purchase during class.

somatic experience - OCTOber 2 at 6:30pm

Guided by Sage Sanctuary owner and founder, Cory Bailey-Fernandez, Somatic Experience is a unique adventure in and through the body.

Somatic Experiences and Therapies are mind-body exercises that help release the stuck emotions and traumas of the past that are still negatively affecting your physical and emotional wellbeing. Stuck emotions and traumas can pop up in the form of inflammation, poor coping skills, inflexibility, triggers, trouble setting boundaries, over or under reacting, etc.

Each Somatic Experience class is different. Some include energetic or flowing movements, and others involve more inward, gentle exercises. (No experience or fitness is required. EVERYbody is welcome.) All are designed to help free you from the stress, anger, frustration, guilt, shame, and pain that is preventing you from joyfully engaging in all aspects of life.
Please dress comfortably. Bring your yoga mat and a water and your journal to write down any thoughts or images that come up during this experience.

sunday soul flow - OCTOBER 22 at 10am

Join Alicia once a month for Sunday Soul Flow. In this all encompassing 90min class Alicia will combine multiple modalities to help completely nourish the mind, body and soul. Class will begin with intention setting and breath work bringing the mind into the present moment. Followed by a carefully structured vinyasa flow to help discover balance, strength and understanding of the body. Ending with a soul nourishing savasana sequence to help unravel and let go of what no longer serves you while intentionally building the practice to see the future with peace, relaxation and joy.

This class is for all levels with lots of modifications and hands on adjustments. Bring your yoga mat if you have one. We'll provide the rest.
